This is probably one of the most established and popular history sites on the world wide web.
Started by John Simpson several years ago, it was masterstroke of foresight as Simpson - a history teacher by profession - saw the potential of the net in the 90s and transferred his print material to the digital format, adding lots of new items as he did so.
It's probably most well known for the detailed section on the assassination of John F. Kennedy, as each and every individual is given their own biography, but the sheer volume of items, much of which are very arcane, gives this website a reach across the global search engines second only to Wikipedia.
I would be amazed if users and readers of History Nexus have never encountered this site before.
Great work John.
