Basically, I knew that there was a story to tell here. It quickly became apparent to me though that the story of Harold Hill couldn't be written without wider reference to the post-war housing expansion - that is, the New Towns.

I think I've done quite a thorough job and four years after it was originally launched it still gets 100+ visitors daily.
