Admittedly, Channel 4 has become more of a ratings chasing station since it was first launched in the early 80s, but it still does provide some quality history programmes.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Time Team, but did anybody see Tony Robinson's two-special on the "Peasants' Revolt"? It was truly quality TV.

Obviously, this site links into their history programmes and visually (as you would expect from such a large company) it is very impressive.
